My name is Rob and I’m a new Pappy. I’ve been thinking about making this blog a reality for some time, but it has taken me until now to bite the bullet.

My partner and I started the adoption process in Jan 2013, we were approved as adoptive parents in August 2013 and our beautiful bundles of joy finally moved in with us in Summer 2014.

Through regular blog posts I will explain more about our adoption journey, how we found the process, the highs and lows and more.

The purpose of the blog is really just for me to dump my own thoughts, ideas, and memories – so our family have a reference point of our journey, but hopefully by sharing our story a little too we can help positively promote adoption; in particular the adoption of sibling groups of slightly older children!

A bit about me:
I’m in my early 30s
I’m currently a full-time Pappy
I love my family more than anything
I like to write songs and sing – and fortunately my kids love my songs…. Or so they politely say 🙂
I believe Life is an ongoing adventure and we have to live everyday.

Hi Rob and Sam. I have just read your breakfast story and felt compelled to find out more. Your children are two very lucky little cuties. Those breakfasts are quite simply amazing; so much love, fun and creativity. Keep up the magic.

Hi. I found your amazing creations on the BAAF FB page – they’re fantastic. I’m also an adopter of an older child, and it is the best thing I ever did 🙂 All the best with your two
